I’ve made a table-top role playing game (TTRPG) where players take on the role of social media founders. It’s a satire of startup culture and the content economy – think Succession meets Black Mirror meets Monopoly Deal.
In VIRAL EMPIRE founders compete to build their PLATFORM, attract USERS, and grow REVENUE. Players must balance their growth with ETHICS to evade ATTACKS from rival founders and CHAOS in the social media ecosystem. The winner is the founder who avoids collapse and builds a successful Empire.
