🪩 Craig Ryder is the founder of the DiSCo, an interdisciplinary network of PhD researchers founded on the premise that to grapple with humanity’s increasing seduction of the digital, we need to organise collectively and continuously learn, lament, celebrate and critique the digitisation of the everyday. DiSCo is funded by CHASE (Consortium for the Humanities and the Arts South-East England).

📓 In October 2022, the DiSCo released Issue 1 of the DiSCo Journal, an experimental online publication exploring digital arts, culture and methods. The theme of first issue was the phenomenological annihilation of time and features eleven contributions from across the media mix. To celebrate the launch we hosted a good-vibes party at radical library and culture centre, Reference Point (180 Strand, London).

🎉 In May 2024, the DiSCo celebrated the launch of Issue 2 of the DiSCo Journal, with another good vibes party at Reference Point.

🇮🇹 Back in 2022 (Jan-Mar), we organised nine training sessions in digital methodologies in collaboration with Destiny Design at the Polytechnic di Milano.
